




Kristine Walker M.S., P.T, owner





Kristine has been owner of Finger Lakes Physical Therapy, PC since 1998 and she, along with 




her husband Jeffrey, are dedicated to providing exceptional treatment for patients in a 




warm and caring environment. Kristi is currently practicing in both the Ithaca and Freeville 




offices and has a specialty in the evaluation and treatment of biomechanical foot disorders 




and offers custom foot orthotics as a method of treatment. You can see a description of 




our services in the orthotic section of the site. In addition to her general orthopedic and 




neurological case load, her special interests include manual therapy for spinal disorders, and 




biomechanical education and exercise prescription to prepare patients for self- 






management and return to their previous level ( or better! ) of function.
Rob Kaplan D.P.T, M.S., P.T





Rob joined Finger Lakes Physical Therapy in September of 2006 after working in outpatient 




physical therapy at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center since 2001. Mr. Kaplan graduated with 




a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College in 2000, and since has been 





working in an outpatient setting. Rob has worked with the Occupational Safety and Health 




Administration (OSHA) to lecture throughout New York State and Northern Pennsylvania to 




over 1000 healthcare workers in ergonomics and injury prevention in the work 






environment. He has since assisted in the development of lecture series to be used 





Nationwide to educate healthcare professionals on work site modifications to prevent 





injury. Through the University of St. Augustine, Rob has continued his education. He has 




studied the use of Manual Therapy and Joint Mobilization to address both chronic and acute 




dysfunctions. At Finger Lakes Physical Therapy, Rob continues to enjoy working with a 





variety of patients in the outpatient setting. Specific areas of interest include Cervical 





(neck) Dysfunction, Temporal Mandibular Dysfunction (jaw pain), Sports Rehabilitation, and 




Vestibular Disorders.





Dr. O'Connor joined Finger Lakes Physical Therapy in May 2005. She graduated with a 





masters in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College in 2000. Joy came to us from Arnot 





Ogden Medical Center where she worked as an outpatient therapist with specialties in 





Orthopedics, Lymphedema, wound care and aquatic therapy. Joy completed her 






Doctorate in Physical Therapy through S.U.N.Y. Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, 





in May of 2007. She enjoys treating the orthopedic population and plans to further her 





education in manual therapy.
Brian Henry, B.S., P.T.A.




Brian has been a member of Finger Lakes Physical Therapy since 2001. After graduating from 



Ithaca College with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science in 1999, Brian spent two years in 



San Diego, CA. before returning to his home state of New York to attend Broome Community 



College where he obtained his Physical Therapist Assistant ( PTA ) degree. As a PTA, Brian 




works directly with patients after they have been evaluated by a physical therapist. With a 



strong background in athletics and exercise physiology, he has a specific interest in working with 



the athletic population. Brian also enjoys leading our weekly Pulmonary Rehab/Senior Exercise 



Classes. Other specific areas of interest include lumbopelvic/abdominal stabilization, shoulder 



rehabilitation, foot/lower extremity biomechanics, and personal training.




Katharine S. Aherne, PT, DPT, MSPT Kate joined Fingerlakes Physical Therapy in March of 2011. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2004 from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Columbia University in 1998. A member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) since 1998. A Pediatric Certified Specialist (PCS) in 2001, providing early intervention and preschool physical therapy services to infants and children, from birth to five since 1999, in New York City and currently Tompkins County. APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor, 2003. Speciality interests include pediatric, neurologic and orthopedic conditions.





Morgan Henninge, B.S., P.T.A.
Margery Holman, PT, DPT
Margery graduated from Stony Brook University with her Doctor of Physical Therapy. She has gained experience treating pelvic floor dysfunctions during clinical affiliations and continuing education courses. In addition to specializing in Men's and Women's Health, she treats general orthopedic and neurologcal conditions. Her athletic career as an Olympic hopeful Bobsledder and collegiate track heptathlete gives her a special appreciation and insight for athletic injuries. Click here to add text.
